Embrace the festive spirit with Crystal Gin

Are you ready for Christmas? The countdown is on, its officially the 1st of December and only 24 sleeps until Christmas!

We have a treat for you to kick off the festive season, how do you fancy a 'Mulled Gin', a little different to the traditional 'Mulled Wine', however that’s just how we like it…. a little different.

Crystal Mulled Gin

Prep Time: 5 minutes

Cook Time: 10 minutes

Serves: 8

Calories: 166

Ingredient

1 Litre of Cloudy Apple Juice

1 Cinnamon Stick

2 Star Anise

20 Fresh Cranberries

10 Cloves

3 Slivers of Fresh Ginger

1 Clementine

2 All Spice Berries

Instructions

Add the apple juice to a pan.

Grab your pestle and mortar and break up your cinnamon stick and pop it into a medium pan.

Place the cloves in the clementine and add to the pan.

Break up all spice berries and add them to the pan with the other ingredients.

Place a lid on the pan and boil for 10 minutes, then turn off the heat and let all the ingredients infuse for an hour.

Strain the liquid, pour back into the pan to reheat or into a jug and its ready to serve.

All you need to do now is grab your glasses fill with a measure of your chosen Crystal Gin (We recommend 30ml and we used our Crystal London Dry), mix in the mulled apple juice. Choose your garnish, we like slices of apple and cinnamon. And enjoy!
